Christmas Tree Farm

Today Brad and I decided to take Trevor out to Cobb's Christmas Tree Farm. It was a tradition our families used to uphold. Each year as kids, Brad and I would go out to Cobb's with our parents and find that special Christmas tree and cut it down ourselves. The free hot chocolate and petting zoo are fond memories. Although we enjoy our Costco-purchased fake tree in our house, I wanted a real wreath for my front door. We headed out in the chilly weather in hopes of a little entertainment for Trevor. To say the least, it just isn't the same as when we were kids. We didn't find any free hot chocolate, and there weren't any animals in the petting zoo? Perhaps it was too cold for them too. However, I don't think Trevor knew the difference. We did find a make-shift craft fair and the highlight of the day was the "fair-like" cinnamon roll we enjoyed! We took a few photos to remember our first trip to Cobb's...and the wreath is going to go on the door.Notice the empty petting zoo behind us! That is the back half of a plastic cow.

The delicious cinnamon roll!
