Old Friends, Fun Times

The last weekend of my summer vacation was spent with old friends. Two of Brad's childhood friends are Brandon and Brett. The were called the "killer bee's" growing up on the same street. I also went to highschool with Brandon and Brett. In highschool I met my good friend, Kim. Kim and Brett got married and now have 3 cute kids. My college roommate, Kasey, married Brandon. They have a darling daughter. All of these people were in our wedding. And we were in all of theirs. So....there you have it. A fun summer night spent with some awesome people....and all 5 of our children make for a wild night!

Preschool is Awesome!

Trevor started preschool on Tuesday, August 16th (the date is more for me looking back at this blog and remembering when). He had the best time the first week. He asked us to take him early the second day so he could get there and play before school started. There wasn't a single tear. And he hasn't stopped talking about it since. Looking forward to a fantastic year of fun, learning, and friendship at Bluffview.Ready with his pottery barn backpack :)Walking in, holding hands with Madison (a little girls he's gone to daycare with for 2 years)

Santa Cruz Beach Trip 2011

We took Trevor to Santa Cruz again this year. But this year, we squeezed in a beach day too. It was Trevor's first "real" trip to the ocean where he actually knew what it was and was able to play in it for hours. He LOVED it. He chased the waves in and out, made friends with another little girl at the beach, ate a picnic lunch, and dug himself a "bathtub" in the sand. He had a blast!

After the beach, we headed to the hotel and Boardwalk. We played in the arcade, had dinner on the wharf, watched the sea otters, and went on the rides. It's all about making fun summertime memories!
