December

December has come and gone in a big, huge BLUR!  I can hardly imagine it's almost January.  Our month was filled with exciting things.  This was probably the best Christmas yet with Trevor.  Seeing the excitment of the Holidays and activities that surround them through his eyes was absolutely the best part of all.  Everything from his Christmas party at preschool to visiting Santa, to decorating for Christmas, to the parade and going to see lights every night was so much fun!
At Trevor's preschool Christmas party, he covered his hears because he said his classmates were singing too loud.  He also sat on Mrs. Clause's lap to tell her he needed a new "nercar" aka: guitar.

The cousins had a Gingerbread making party with Hank.
We also walked Christmas Tree Lane with the Hennecke's.
We got to go to the Clovis Christmas parade with Nana and Papa
Trevor was IN LOVE with Blowups this year.  We had 4 in our yard.  He had them on remote control and pushed them on and off every morning and night.   These are his remote controls :)

My kitchen redo

When we bought our first house on Ticonderoga Street, I feel in LOVE with my white kitchen.  I absolutely loved it...and that was about all I missed after moving out of that house (besides having some great neighbors).  So I have dreamed of turning my ugly orangish-brownish-wood kitchen into a white wonderland like my old house.  Either you love white, or you hate white...I'm a white lover!  So....I did ebay, craigslist, and had a yard sale and fund-raised the money all by  myself to pay for this kitchen. Our awesome neighbor, who is a painter, gave me a great deal.  Here's the before and after.
VIOLA...............

After:  with the handles installed (thank you dad...he took off the doors, put on the doors, and did all my handles)
 Before:  orange, knotty...not my thing

I also had my bathrooms, laundry and insert in the living room painted...I'm in LOVE!

Thanksgiving

Giving thanks for EVERY special thing in our lives....
Eating WAYYY to much ALLL day long....
Playing our HEARTS out with family.....

Happy Thanksgiving 2011!
**Side Note:  The 2 other pictures that NEED to be added to this post are going to be my parents and in-laws Christmas card pictures...so I didn't want to spoil their cards and post them to my blog! :)  They will be posted at a later date!

Thanksgiving Party at Preschool

Trevor is THANKFUL....and it is the cutest thing I've ever seen...this is what was on the back of his vest at his preschool party...

I couldn't make it to the party (since 2 weeks earlier I was off for the Halloween party) so Daddy got to go.  Brad said most kids has 2 little sentences on the backs of their vests...but not this kid...his paragraph pretty much sums him up.  Hilarious! (and I was Thankful that I made the cut)

Preschool Party

Bluffview had a Halloween party...and I snuck out of work to attend.  It was darling, there was a parade along the railroad tracks, a concert, and a party in the classrooms.  Trevor loves his preschool...and so does mommy!  I want to attend!

Special Delivery

Trevor was (and has talked about it since about March) a UPS man.  He knows our UPS guy fairly well, since Brad has packages delivered for work nearly every day.  He was the cutest package man I have ever seen!  What can brown do for you? :)

Papa dressed like a pirate....Trevor helped with his costume!

Hillcrest Pumpkim Patch

I CANNOT believe we have never been to this cool pumpkin patch before.  It was the "REAL" thing.  Real pumpkins that are grown on vines, no carnival rides(or carney's), and a real steam train on tracks with a tractor pulling a trailer full of hay.  This little piece of pumpkin heaven exists only a mere 35 minutes from our house.  It was so cute and we had a great time.

A Fun Furlough Day

A couple weeks ago, Clovis Unified had a furlough day.  We headed to Woodward Park and Fashion Fair Mall of course.  Nana bought Trevor a cute pair of Nike's and we fed (wild, crazy, hungry) ducks at Woodward Park while enjoying a picnic lunch of none other than Taco Bell.  Fun Furlough Day!

Playtime with Papa

At every Fresno State game Trevor looks forward to getting there before the game starts when the players run through the tunnel.  As they run through the tunnel, giant "smoke machines" (aka: fire extinguishers) are spraying smoke through the tunnel and the players as they run on the field.  Last night we didn't make it in time to see the smoke, so....Papa promised to make smoke in our backyard this morning for Trevor.  This is the fun result!
The sunglasses are so the "smoke" doesn't get in his eyes.

Balloons are dropping on our head!

Trevor screamed, "Balloons are going to drop on our head"...as we watched about 7 hot air balloons land near Children's hospital today. After a loooonnnggg weekend filled with a volleyball tournament, Fresno State tailgating and a football game, I just couldn't manage to get up at 5:30am to take Trevor to watch the balloons take off this morning at the Clovis Fest. However, it turned out to be the biggest/greatest/awesomest decision ever!!! At about 7:00am, Trevor saw a balloon out in the distance by our house. So Trev and I jumped in the car and took off to see where they were going to land. We followed them to the magic location and got to actually watch 7 (maybe 8) of them land right in front of us. I honestly think it was better than watching them take off. Trevor even got to help put one of them away! So cool!
"Cheeeese" but the sun was in his eyes!
He's jumping up and down in this pict. yelling, "It's blowing down, it's blowing down!"
He got to sit on the balloon and help, "Blow it down"

Go Dogs!

This is Trevor's 4th season as a Fresno State Football fan. He's gone to almost every game since he was 5 months old. He is THE BEST little football fan when we go to the games. I am looking forward to this season. He plays "tailgate" at home. Where he'll get an ice chest and set up chairs and pretend to have a tailgate in our backyard. Go Dogs!

Fresno State got new turf this season. We went to walk on the field last week. We even got our picture take to be put up on the jumbo-tron!
Trevor brought a bone to give to Time Out. Unfortunately he wasn't there. However, the head of the department got Trevor's name and address and Time Out sent Trevor 3 autographed pictures and a postcard a couple days later in the mail, apologizing for not being at the field that night to get Trevor's bone!
On Saturday, Fresno State played Cal in SanFrancisco. We all went to the game. Such fun!
