December

December has come and gone in a big, huge BLUR!  I can hardly imagine it's almost January.  Our month was filled with exciting things.  This was probably the best Christmas yet with Trevor.  Seeing the excitment of the Holidays and activities that surround them through his eyes was absolutely the best part of all.  Everything from his Christmas party at preschool to visiting Santa, to decorating for Christmas, to the parade and going to see lights every night was so much fun!
At Trevor's preschool Christmas party, he covered his hears because he said his classmates were singing too loud.  He also sat on Mrs. Clause's lap to tell her he needed a new "nercar" aka: guitar.

The cousins had a Gingerbread making party with Hank.
We also walked Christmas Tree Lane with the Hennecke's.
We got to go to the Clovis Christmas parade with Nana and Papa
Trevor was IN LOVE with Blowups this year.  We had 4 in our yard.  He had them on remote control and pushed them on and off every morning and night.   These are his remote controls :)

My kitchen redo

When we bought our first house on Ticonderoga Street, I feel in LOVE with my white kitchen.  I absolutely loved it...and that was about all I missed after moving out of that house (besides having some great neighbors).  So I have dreamed of turning my ugly orangish-brownish-wood kitchen into a white wonderland like my old house.  Either you love white, or you hate white...I'm a white lover!  So....I did ebay, craigslist, and had a yard sale and fund-raised the money all by  myself to pay for this kitchen. Our awesome neighbor, who is a painter, gave me a great deal.  Here's the before and after.
VIOLA...............

After:  with the handles installed (thank you dad...he took off the doors, put on the doors, and did all my handles)
 Before:  orange, knotty...not my thing

I also had my bathrooms, laundry and insert in the living room painted...I'm in LOVE!
