Happy Christmas and Merry New Year!
This Christmas was a blast...we had about 4 Christmases (is that a word)....and by the 4th round of opening presents, Trevor was just as excited as he was in round one. He loved looking at Santa this year. The lap sitting didn't quite go as planned, but we bought the screaming picture anyway. And he even looked at an old man in the restaurant last night who had a gray beard and said "ho, ho, ho"....who knows maybe it was ol' Mr. Claus enjoying some clam chowder at Pismos? Children do seem to know these things, right? I think the favorite present of the season was his "coca" aka JEEP power wheels from my parents. Now, about the word "coca" we aren't sure where that came from other than the sound a motorcycle or truck makes. Everything with a motor is basically a "coca". So when the jeep came rolling down the hallway, he stood in awe and yelled "COCA"....pretty cute!
Trevor and his cousin Bella playing together on Christmas Eve. Kodak moment for sure!
The big reveal!

Finally getting the hang of the Jeep...he wouldn't lay off the gas pedal!

Happy Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving was great! I got the week off to hang out with Trevor and we celebrated Thanksgiving day with both of our families. I contributed a ham (which turned out great, thank god...or Diane may not have let me come over) and $27.00 worth of buns. I say that because my best friend Sarah, thought it was hilarious that she bought "brown n' serve" buns at Walmart for .79 cents a pack and I had to get Eddies bakery buns for 27.00. (Props to Eddie's bakery buns...they are quite DELICIOUS and worth every penny. I suggest all of you "brown n' serves" branch out next year and order up some Eddies)Daddy, Trevor, Uncle Matt, and Great Grandpa Emil at my mom's house.
My totally cute family. (If you plan on getting a Christmas card from Diane, close your eyes on this one)
Grandma and Grandpa Harper and Trevor's 2 cutie pie cousins.

Lake Tahoe
Last weekend we went to Lake Tahoe and stayed with our friends in their cabin. On Saturday the big boys went to the Fresno State football game in Reno and the girls went shopping and to the park with the little boys. We had a great time. There was even a little bit of snow on the ground. Enough for the little boys to be amazed by :)

Trick or Treat
Halloween was so much fun with Trevor this year. He wasn't quite sure why he was going up to the door...but he held his bag on his arm the entire night. He followed his buddy Cash to every door. It was so much fun watching the little monkey! (by the end of the night he realized the banana in his pocket was fake :)
Trevor was so excited when Cash showed up before they went Trick or Treating.
Strolling through the neighborhood with his bag on his arm and snack cup in hand.
The monkey and the fireman. (Trevor was saying: "hat" in this picture.)

Coolest Morning Walk EVER...
This morning Trevor and I went outside for a morning walk and discovered that there was a HOT AIR BALLOON frenzy in the sky. We watched 3 of them land in the field directly behind our house. And about 7 more were in the sky flying over the area we live in. He was sooo excited. It was really cool!
P.S- Sorry about the lack of bloggin'....mommy had to go back to work :) We've done lots of fun stuff...but no time to blog it!

Monterey
Our last summer adventure before I have to go back to work (boo hoo) was going to the Monterey Bay Aquarium! We had so much fun!
Trevor was obviously too tired to smile. The aquarium wore him out.

He loved the big "wa wa"..."wa wa"
I thought this was the cutest picture ever of the two of them. Trevor touched all of the starfish in the touch pool, but when it came to the kelp...he made a funny face and yanked his hand out of the water.
After the aquarium, we ate lunch and went down to the beach. Trevor chased the water in and out on the sand. Luckily the 2 bums that were asleep on the beach didn't make it into the picture.

Camping....real camping
We took Trevor on his first "real" camping trip. Yes people, tents and all...no trailers, no camper shells, no showers...good ol' fashioned camping. And we had a blast. We went with our friends, who (thank goodness) supplied most of the stuff. Trevor and his friend Hudson played in the dirt, played in Huntington lake, and chased eachother around the campsite. Trevor also managed to eat some of the dirt. After 2 nights of minimal sleep, we were ready to come home to our own beds. Everybody had a great time. Hopefully this will become an ANNUAL trip :)
One cute camper!
Trevor was unsure about the fish daddy caught...he did touch it though. One thing they weren't....was CLEAN!

Lake Tahoe
Unfortunately Brad's entire family wasn't able to go to Lake Tahoe this year. However, we still went with Brad's brother and his family. We had a lot of fun in the beautiful (70's) weather and Trevor yelled "wa wa" everytime we drove by the lake.
One morning the geese even let Trevor chase them :)
Trevor loved the lake. His favorite part was throwing rocks into it. His least favorite part was taking a nose dive into it.
Trevor even got to hang out with his friend Hudson a couple of times.

Trevor had fun chasing his cousin Bella around the cabin.
We took a day trip up to Squaw Valley. Yes, that is actually snow behind us! Can you believe it was 107 degrees in Fresno and there was still snow up there?

My New Table
I'm not sure what gambling is, but my mommy told me she won! We went shopping and she bought me a cool new picnic table. :) Before she could set it up outside, I showed her how much I love my new table.
I love to sit at it!I can even crawl up on the seat!
And I can stand on it! I think I better sit down though, because I heard my mommy say this may not have been a good idea!
